A good friday on Good Friday

Today was a night mellow day exploring Santiago. The highlight of the day was Mercado Central, which is the main fish market - lots of little stalls under one big roof, with just huge stacks of fresh fish everywhere. Lots of strange species that I'd never seen before too. Then we headed to the Santiago Zoo, to meet up with Andrea (where she works), which was fun - we got the behind the scenes tour, including the birds of prey! A ride on the gondola above the city gave us some loverly sunset views, and then we headed out for a few drinks and pizza. Quite a nice day exploring the city really.
